For the first time in over 100 years, the City of Sydney is building a new town centre.

The City is designing a unique, resilient and welcoming centre to form the residential, commercial and cultural heart of the Green Square community.

This will be a place combining sustainable infrastructure with community spirit, lifestyle and character.

The City has committed $540 million over the next 10 years to create world-class community facilities including an innovative new library and plaza, an aquatic centre, many parks and playgrounds, a childcare centre and a creative hub.
